Teacher Materials
Purchase and print preschool materials
Teaching little ones is no easy task and although certainly rewarding, any teacher knows that to prepare a curriculum and the perfect environment for teaching young children takes a great deal of a teacher's time. This site is devoted to helping teachers with a plethora of purchasable materials from every area of a preschool curriculum.
Various pages on Little Learner are devoted to each and every area of study from thematic units to more traditional academic areas from language to mathematics to science. Buy hands-on teacher materials with various ways to create extensions of your own to use as either center or shelf work for your children. Very little prepping is needed for these materials. Simply print, cut and paste, laminate for longer durability and it's time to teach! Say 'goodbye' to prepping long hours into the night and on weekends with teacher materials created by a seasoned veteran and educator of children for almost 2 decades.
For those teachers just starting out, I have to say that some of the best advice I have to give is to pool from other teachers around you. Teaching is a collaborative effort and for myself, looking back, it is not only the students that inspired me, it was the teachers I came to learn from along the way. Take note of those doing the same things that you are doing but who have had more time and experience to share with you. Doing so will only help you to develop as a teacher and add to your own effectiveness of what you personally have to bring to the table.
As a teacher for many years I worked in various schools, some schools had the resources to give me plenty of time as a teacher to prep for my children while working for other schools meant having to make time late into the nights or during the weekend. Teachers tend to be perfectionists and they are generally there to put in their whole hearts or they wouldn't be there in the first place. I hope my materials will be a tool that will make your life easier as teachers!
Teachers of preschool not only need to provide exciting materials to their students each and every day to keep them interested, add to that many other time-consuming duties for teaching such as planning, recording, writing up child reports and assessments for winter, spring and end of the year conferences. Newsletters, notes of communication between parents and teachers and calendars alone take up a great deal of a teacher's time. Teacher's today are fortunate with websites today offering materials for teachers by teachers like on sites such as TeachersPayTeachers.com. TPT is a great initiative and resource for providing these types of services especially for you. My own materials are purchasable through the TPT site and by clicking on materials from my site you automatically directed there.
