Hand-Eye Coordination Activities
Developing hand-eye coordination in children is an important part of their growth and learning. Hand-eye coordination is defined as the coordinated control of eye movement with hand movement and the processing of visual input. Reaching and grasping along with the use of proprioception of the hands to guide the eyes is how these senses develop. Proprioception and kinesthesia is the knowing of where the body is in space and how it is moving with visual processing. Then the body has to coordinate a pattern to accomplish a goal.
